Welcome to the Jumping Horse Ranch, located eight miles outside of the fly-fishing and hunting mecca known as Ennis and just 60 miles from Bozeman, in the heart of Southwest Montana. With 8,100 acres set with the backdrop of the towering peaks of the Madison Range, our landscape sits anywhere from 5,000 to 8,400 feet in elevation, stretching from the beautiful Jack Creek, through the Short Creek area and over towards Ennis Lake.
At the Jumping Horse Ranch, with a long history that dates back to some of the area’s first settlers, the land is protected through a conservation easement. With this in place, haying and raising cattle still remain the day-to-day activities, and each fall we host a limited number of guests for epic big game hunting.
